Not an ounce too much! We take care to keep our trekking poles as lightweight as possible, because experienced mountaineers point out the nuisance of dead weight when they crest the peak after hours of climbing.
IDEA We wanted to improve our tubes, even those with the smallest diameter (12mm). Comparative tests with our competitors showed that indeed there was room for improvement and we accepted the challenge and increased the values of the lowest segment of our telescopic poles. In season 2010 we have the strongest as well as thinnest tubes.
RESULT 20% MORE POWER of RESISTANCE with 15% SLIMMER TUBES lesser deflection at the same application of force thanks to a special heat treatment of the tube.
