Pass one hand from underneath into the strap and pull with the other hand on the band which is dangling from the strap channel. The plastic stopper loosens and the strap can be adjusted more tightly or widely by pulling on the band respectively on the strap. Then insert the stopper again and tighten the strap.

Contact your dealer and tell him your problem. In principle each dealer can reorder straps from XS to XL at the Komperdell factory, and the dealer will certainly help you with the replacement.

Take the basket off the pole by a slight turn and adjust the new basket into place by a turn upwards. Thus it is possible to change from summer- to winter basket for high alpine terrain.

In order to put the probe into function at an emergency, the different tips were marked in differing colours for easier handling. Thus in case of emergency it is much faster to change the pole into a probe of 250 cm .As through the rotation when planting the pole the tips can get loose, we recommend to retighten them occasionally with the key included in your delivery.

As the Powerlock System can slightly loosen after repeated usage, we recommend to retighten the mechanism with a screw-wrench or a pocket knife.

Middle and lower parts can be reordered by your dealer and you can exchange them easily yourselves.

In order to guarantee 100% functionality, the following care instructions which can be carried out at home, are to be followed:
The adequate storage of the pole is one item of care. If the pole is used in rainy or damp weather, it is absolutely necessary to dry it in a warm room overnight, in order to maintain optimal function of the adjusting system. Ideally the two pole segments should be taken apart for drying and stored separately.

After a certain time of usage the locking power respectively tension force is weakening. In order to restore the original locking power, you can readjust the locking mechanism with the enclosed key-tool.

Step 1: Unscrew the lower aluminium cover of the locking system and pull apart the two pole segments	Step 2: Fix the enclosed tool on the hexagon head screw	Step 3: Readjust the screw by a 180° turn - tension power is restored

In principle a protector should always be tried in the shop. You have to take care that the protector covers the whole spinal column (from the last cervical to the coccyx).

Yes you can wash it at 30° after having removed the protector inserts.

After a heavy crash the structure of the protector can possibly be destroyed. In this case the protector insert must absolutely be exchanged, otherwise total safety can not be guaranteed. If you cannot find out yourselves if the protector is not to be used anymore, we recommend sending it to the Komperdell Factory for control.

Clean your telescopic pole after each usage with a dry cloth and open the locks. Always keep your telescopic pole with released locks! Never treat locks and poles with greasy substances. Bamboo Poles should be occasionally oiled.

and the tripod is ready for your excursions!

Just treath your pole like a precious piece of furniture and oil it with care lotion occasionally.
